That looks like it could be liquid but also could be a lot of pressure against the black plate. Am I right in thinking that's a coated/painted metal plate? If so I'd say it looks like liquid, but could be from cleaning/rinsing/filling. Try tucking the point corner of a kitchen roll sheet under the acrylic there. See if it wicks any moisture out. Then see if it reappears under the acrylic.
I think the air in your block is probably just deposited there while travelling round the loop, have you moved it all around with the pump running? How long's it been filled?
Also no pictures of foam or bubbles but the block doesn't look bad in terms of that. Foam would worry me a bit unless it's just from extreme turbulence.
a bit more info....I have recently moved from intel to ryzen so i changed the insert and backplate to ryzen optimized parts. Whe I saw the , what looks like stains in the corner it looked like it could be liquid. Yesterday i drained everything including the rad which i took out and cleaned with white vinegar and distilled water as i have been seeing a lot of bubbles in my tubes mainly after the block. I have got up this morning and all the bubbles in the tubes have gone there are just a few in the block and the res but no where near as bad, i think this maybe because i changed the orientation of the block yesterday so that it looks as it does in the pictures...before that it was the other way round.
Today I am going to see if I can take apart the pump as I am wondering if there is some sort of blockage as the flow does not seem to be very good even when stressing and running full speed the bubbles in the tubes were slow moving when i was lifting the case and trying to dislodge them. I am wondering if there is dish washing liquid in there causing the foam as I have used that a few times since I had the pump, I often drain and change colour/liquid and redisign the loop.
well I think I have sorted it....decided to remove the block and dismantle, it was moisture at the corners. While I removed it i also decided to turn the block round so input was bottom and outlet was top (see pic) i also read that the jetplate should behorizontal on the ryzen chip as opposed to vertical so turned the copperblock around then reinstalled and I have got to say what a difference, it filled without any bubbles and noow my temps are so much better, i was struggling to keep below 78c while stress testing but now my max temp is 56c under full load.
