After deciding not get a PS3 for my home cinema room then buying one on MM I have to eat my hat and say this is one cool piece of kit.

Not got around with streaming yet but its silent, Transformers looked the nuts on BD on my projector and screen and the games are great fun without the need to faff with drivers etc...

I love the interface too.

So much more fun than a standalone for the money I paid.

It's a nice piece of hardware alright. Quiet and it does appear like it'd be something reliable. I use mine exclusively for playing blu rays. I have a 360 which takes care of my gaming needs.
 
PS3 is rubbish. The graphics are terrible, the controllers are cheap and tacky, blu-ray HD is a placebo effect, you can buy all the exclusives on other consoles, and it costs nearly a thousand pounds.

You forgot that the games don't exist and it weighs precisely 1 tonne.

die hard 4.0 looked sweeeeet when i watched it at the weekend and since that ive watched hitman and zohan, they both looked brilliant too but not the best movies ever made, now when i get around to it ill be buying heat(it will be my first blu-ray purchase)and with the ps3 hooked up to my hi-fi the sound will be awesome too,
without a doubt the best console available atm

but have you actually played a game on it? lol
 
yeah, cod 4 and waw,mgs4 gta4, starwars force unleashed,lbp,guitar hero world tour and 3 and all were very good, loved the graphics on all as long as they were played in hd and i dont know where all this bs about the pads being outdated, ive been using it all the time since the first ps and ive never had any problems with them

Couldn't of said it better myself, worst console I've ever played, also don't forget they are unreliable and very noisy.
