Can't wait, I thoroughly enjoyed AVP. Although I never really got to play AVP2.

AVP2 still looks pretty good, considering. You should try to hunt down a copy.

I used to often have to turn off AVP game due to being so immersed and genuinely terrified when the motion beeps used to start getting closer! 
This got much worse when I started playing in the dark with headphones on when flatmates sneaked into my room and jumped me from behind!

I think someone may already have mentioned this but if they sorted out a quality co-op mode then that would be brilliant. Loved the AVP games... although only playing as the Marine (in single player) so hopefully this will do the Alien theme proud. *fingers crossed*

the first avp scared the poo out of me, i only lasted the first level of the marines. AVP2 was really good, just not a scary as avp1.

holy carp! I just hope they get the pulse rifle sounds spot on, they were a bit ropey in AVP2 - in fact, everything was ropey in AVP2 
I just hope they manage to hold the suspension with good AI also, AVP2 was terrible in that respect, they just ran towards you

Yes the first AVP was absolutely awesome, only game that really scared me. I didnt even complete the single player....
Second one was good too, had decent MP that kept it going for a bit.
I hope this new 1 measures up, best not be too consoley or simplified if it is someones getting a brick through there window..
yeah that was a class moment, the first level was really good actually it had a nice atmosphere. loved the guns too, with the different ammos you could select. the shotgun with the (i think) buckshot ammo was sick, loved that even on MP. Yeah fun times tbh, I hope this new 1 has good MP.
