I think I need a new cooker

I have this... thing... I think it's MFI's own brand - I didn't fit it, it was in the house when I moved in. It's a "Diplomat" In fact it's the same as this one:

It's a stupid size 600x850mm (width is an issue).

Problems with it: One of the sparker things doesn't work - no big issue, just an incovenience.
The plate warmer is pointless, and only fits tiny plates in it - waste of space.
The griddle thing is also pointless - doesn't seem to get hot enough to cook anything.

The grill/top oven and main oven are electric. Hob is gas.
The main oven is terrible. It takes about a week to heat up and I don't think the thermostat is accurate. You seem to have to set it 20-30 degrees lower than on the dial to get it to not incinerate things.

It's just terrible. My parents' oven is made by Neff and takes about 5 mins to heat up (compared to mine's 30+ to get above 180 degrees).. but it's a built in one.

I'm just wondering what my options are. I would love a new kitchen, as mine is poorly laid out and has very little usable work surface space and the cupboards are all retarded. I don't know who designed it but I think it was their first attempt.

Anyway, I don't have several grand to spend on a whole new kitchen, so I'd just like to replace the cooker really. But it's 250mm wider than most -and most range type ones seem to be 900mm wide, so I'd need to find another 5cm from somewhere... or have a stupid space.

Any suggestions?
I just want something I can cook bread/cakes/roasts in without them being burned to a crisp or not cooked.

Oh yeah, the other thing - if you have more than one shelf occupied then forget trying to cook anything properly - it's just a fail oven.

Have a browse of the coop website.

you can filter them by width and they do free next day delivery on almost everything they sell unlike a lot of places that expect you to wait upto 14 days

you also get given a one hour delivery window :)
http://www.coopelectricalshop.co.uk/Household+Appliances/Freestanding+Cooking/Range+Cookers/fd/c/c/c

they have been competitive on prices even if the delivery wasn't free on every item I have bought from them

theres a few 896mm ones your saying your space is 895mm wide? are you sure its not 896 lol? I guess a single mm is a lot easier to find than 5
