I think its broke !!!!

just installed Halo 2 onto my system.This is
winnie 3500
3 gig ram
various harddrives
dfi lan party board Nf4
his x800xl graphics card
Vista ultimate 64

when I do the graphics vista count test all is in spec to play the game(5.9 graphics and 4.9 gaming graphics)

I go to play the game and the game is all blocks . In that the graphics have blocks in them blocks missing etc.

I am using the latest catylist 64 bit drivers from ati
I even get block when setting the card up in the ccc part of the drivers.

So is it broke or is it just because its vista 64?
Is there anything I can do? (other than buy a nvidea 8800gtx)

Any ideas peeps........

I've seen this before on my X800XL.

Usually when the Shuttle it was in got to hot. Moved this to another PC now but still the same problem when it warms up. Doesn't do it from scratch tho so I assume only partially buggered.

I guess this does it on all games ???

I was thinking it was a heat problem.

how do I cure this?

I might later take the dam thing out and clean it and check that the fan etc is clear.....

Havent tried any other games yet sniper elite later I think or mabe fifa 07

take it out now and check if its got dust in it blocking the fan. if you keep using it your gonna kill it permanentaly. failing that stick a better cooler on it and it should be fine.
