Just powered on my 360 for the first time in weeks to find there was an update to be applied, so I did the necessary and let it download and install the update and then restart as told to do so only for once it came back up it to not let me sync my controller 
So as you do I powered it of and powered it back on and now I'm getting 3 dreaded red lights
I've tried physically unplugging the mains and plugging it back in and it did actually progress a little but only to crash on the splash screen. Again I powered off and on only to then get the red lights again.
So what do I do next people?
