Had it twice now in ten days but everything checks out fine, afterwards apart from this error of course.

Was playing FM there and saving when it crashed, last time i cannot remember what i was doing.

Any ideas?

Actually just quickly ran prime95 and got this:

worker thread 2 (i take thats my second core?)

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected 0.4

Whats that about?

The mem is at stock, only the CPU is OC'd, and its at stock volts.

Edit: Any other tool to test mem, i've got no floppy or means to make a boot (even usb, can't find it)

Ok, try, if you have not done so, putting everything back to stock, run Prime and see how you get on.

Was this a new build or have you added any memory lately!

Joys of computing :p, If it's been running fine for past months it's going to be the case of testing things in stages, like I said above put all back to stock including recommeded voltages ect & run Prime.

If that fails remove 2 sticks of memory and test with mem test, then swop over and try the other two sticks, if these all past ok it might be motherboard or PSU problem.

Rob:)

Cheers for the advice mate,

Its got well past where it was failing at 3.2 so i guess its the CPU.

I did a check about i may need to increase volts, think i should try that now?

Actually i've noticed recently a massive jump in temps.

Even at stock Prime set the alarm off at 60c there, i've even resat the Freezer pro and it's not made much difference.
