I thought crysis was multicore optimized??

The scene your looking at isn't really cpu heavy, the water and textures are quite GPU - ish. Get into a heavy action scene, with lots going on onscreen and have a peak then.

Secondly, by multicore optimised it means - "Will use your other cores to some extent, albeit a low one at times"

It's pretty graphically demanding and thus perhaps doesn't need the extra umph from the other cores?

With my duel core the workload seems to get shared between both cores.
