i thought wordpress was supposed to be easy

Took the plunge and installed word-press last night and been playing around with it. Its supposed to be intuitive i just don't get it?

I have created a myclubs page spot on. I want the About page to be a static page to and replace the home page, i want the page called blog to be the actual blog page where the posts go. At the moment my posts are going on the home page ?:S

Thats all very well. But it still leaves "Add comment" below the static article. What if I don't want comments.

Does this mean that you have to create your own templates?

go into admin, go to the page, scroll down and there is an option to turn comments off for the page.

Without sounding patronising, try looking about a bit. I figured most of it out just be looking through all the options and playing about, it really is that easy
