Hey guys.

I own the Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case. It has a big metal Air Duct thing that is designed to suck air in and cool your components. It is incredibly large though and makes accessing things inside your case impossible really, so I've taken it out and read other people have to.

Because I have, I was wondering it it's worth purchasing a fan that'll suck air in to it the case to keep everything nice and cool.

Only problem is that I'm not really sure what I should be looking to buy and secondly where it should go in my case...

Here is a pic..

Are there fans specially shaped to fit the grill I've put a red square round? If not, I'm not exactly sure where else another case fan could fit.......

Also, will the 450w Antec PSU be enough to power my spec (check my sig) plus an extra fan?

Would stick away from slot coolers as they dont move as much as normal fans and are generally fairly loud. What are you temps like in comparison between leaving the side panel off and not. Your best off using a higher cfm fan at the rear exhaust. Let us know what your temps are like. Other option may be to put a artic cooler on your graphics card as they move air out unlike a zalman cooler.

Your psu is pushing it with that system but if its rails are good then you should be ok. Id want 530w+ ideally

Could my PSU be the reason for random freezing in games? I know it's not drivers, RAM or the graphics card..

Generally my CPU temp is about 28c and my system is roughly the same. My Graphics card is about 40c.

After an hour or so of gaming my system temp will usually be around 32c, my CPU temp around 35-40 and my Graphics Card at 50-60c...

And what exactly are rails, and what is considered good and bad?
