I'm currently with Sky Broadband on there 20MB unlimited package.

Due to the area I'm in, they're not able to offer me a fibre connection so I was thinking of buying out my current broadband contract that I hold with them and switching providers.

Virgin seem to be the most common for Fibre connections but they also don't offer a supply to my area.

Does anyone here that lives in Stoke have a fibre connection? If so which provider are you with?

Cheers

If Sky (who use Openreach) or Virgin can't supply you with fibre a fast connection over copper wires then you're probably out of luck.

Unless you buy a leased line.

You might need to wait a while longer for Sky to set-up the GEA link if other providers such as BT Retail and Plusnet can offer FTTC to you.

Thankfully they're usually pretty sharpish in getting their setup sorted due to the influx of new contracts when FTTC becomes available, don't want to miss that boat.
