Hello ocuk, been 10 years since i last built a pc. i have been using the loved by me shuttle systems, but really bottle necked by them now as technology moves on and on.. im quite into gaming and the air flow with an i7 and a 570 is really bad.....

So what im after...

- A really well made metal case
- a window
- aimed at gaming
- nice looking
- fans already fitted with light would be an advantage
- mid size (not a full tower)

any thoughts and recommendations are really welcome, im not fussed about the price, just want something that will last.

i do prefer the 650D look wise, what's the install and cable management like? any think to watch out for ? as im so out of touch

Good choice! Do a search in this forum if you haven't already - there are lots of informative posts about front fans, fan controllers and whatnot.

Very good choice, im just putting my new rig into one, lovely case to work in.

looking forward to getting mine, really hoping i can build this on my own! do you have to but spacers in or anything with the motherboard these days? or just built in?

i presume you put the psu in first then the mobo?

o there must be some good guides for that
but yeh on most cases some of the standoffs are usually screwed in and comes with a little bag of extra ones, just screw them in where they line up with the mobo holes

the psu/mobo i dont think it matters which in first with that case, got lots room, id still put the cpu, cooler, memory in motherboard first before screwing it in

what cpu cooler you going to use? just stock for now?

ok cool, gone for the 1 x Corsair Hydro H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler, so that needs to be added after the mobo is installed
