Yeh as I said on CS I think theres no other option as it stands. Bet that pleased him, deserves it though!

So why are these "throttle bodies" all the rage?

Irrespective of the legality of the lads driving, it sounds very touring car esque.

Wouldn't want it in a 106 but each to their own.

looks like a really fast car but what the hell is going on with his downshifts? I hate that slurring engine sound while downshifting without heel&toe, not only does it sound bad but it's lunching the clutch.

Christ, save it for the track day, some if the twitching coming off the round abouts was down right crazy, lose that and its game over for on coming traffic.

I dont understand why people spend £1000s of pounds on a car then drive like a tit on the public road.

It's a sequential box, i didn't think you used the clutch other than for starts.

you should still blip on downshifts though.

and cheets, don't be so wet lol, there's nothing like a bit of twitching coming off roundabouts to keep you on yer toes :D edit - upon watcjing the vid again, I don't see any twitchiness at all tbh, car seems very well balanced with no slide at all.

I see, i guess i've been watching too much Top Gear where they drive the fancy Ferrari's with their compeuter wizardry, that blip for you, doubtful it's on that 106.

I see your point now. :)

Aren't the majority of sequential racing boxes straight cut? sound = like driving everywhere in reverse.

Isnt that a Dog box?

But really, why spend ALL that money on a bloody 106? :p

He better have atleast changed the engine over to something worth while.

Arnt Sequential boxs something like 8000 pound over there?

Exact same thing. The teeth arent cut at an angle so effectively what you're hearing is the cogs 'slapping' against each other.
