Barring that and auction sites I think you going to struggle to find one, and I suspect it's going to cost you nearly the same as a nano, which is superior in every single way I can think of.

Unless someone has a large stockpile somewhere its gonna be pretty hard to come by a NEW ipod mini because they were made obselete by the nano.

The nano Sound Quality is a lot better. But if you are only using a low bitrate files and low end earphones I guess thats not an issue.

Maybe, but they don't look like you've polished them with a hedgehog after a few days of use.

Thats only a problem is you are going to walk around looking at it not listening to it. Though personally I wouldn't buy either. You can buy a case/skin that will protect it if you're that worried about it.

If you want something that sounds good, get a Sony Nwa-608 or the new iAudio. If you want something that looks good get a Nano.
