I Want Candy cover by a couple of my friends

I just listened to the original on YouTube and it's dire imo, but my friend (Emily the singer) just sent this to me.

I hadn't heard this before, but Emily had a cold when she sang this (apparently) and she's 16. And I think it's bloody fantastic.

What do you guys think of it?

Umm, I'm going to say Mel C as I *think* that's the version I listened to last night on YouTube.

But no doubt it's going to be someone else.

First done in the mid 60s by The Strangeloves but the famous version was Bow Wow Wow in the early 80's

Bow Wow Wow are not to be confused with Bow Wow who were a Japanese rock band in the early 80's who made some good tunes.
In fact they were credited as being one of the first proper rock bands in Japan along with Loudness.
One of the bands even had two singers - one Japanese and one 'European' for the rest of the world.
Bow Wow Wow were a 'punk' band who were fronted by a Chinese looking girl.

And Emily has done a good job. You can tell she has a slight cold because it does waver a bit but nontheless a good effort.
