I want... Docking station+charging point for ipod

I've got the 60gb 5th gen video ipod, and my biggest gripe is charging it from the usb port, so I want something with the ability to charge without needing to be plugged into the mac, but I'm redesigning room at moment, so thinking about replacing the existing stereo, so might as well have a good sound quality output, mains powered etc.

You'll be wanting the Apple universal dock, the USB charger, and another USB cable then. The universal dock can be paired with an optional remote, and comes with a line-out connector which you can use for high quality sound output.

If you don't want to pay for another USB cable (£15 is a lot for a cable), you can go onto the service website and tell Apple your existing one is broken

sorry when i said output I meant as in speakers etc....

got a set of logitech basic jobbies at mo that used for computer, but don't need amazing 5.1 or whatever.... just a nice simple good clear soundsystem would do me nicely

Well all iPod docks with speakers integrated are crap.
