Evening All,

Got back into Mass Effect 1 and 2 the last few days - decided to finally finish up my Insanity run on ME2 (Yay) also on my main save that I carried over from ME1 I redid the last mission to make sure everyone survived ME2 ready for the import into ME3 - original the Mordin died for me, though not sure why as everyone was loyal and I did the same thing this time and he survived!

Replaying it just makes me want so much more, the last FMV when is so gripping with awesome music, suspense, and OOOOOHHHHHness.

I guess ME3 is at least a year away?

What would you guys like to see in the 3rd instalment - it's one of the few games I feel the 2nd outdid the 1st so looking forward to the possibility of further improvements on the 3rd!

I just want more of the same tbh. Mass Effect 1 and 2 are up there with some of the best games I've ever played. I became so immersed in the story that bioware are telling that each time I completed 1 & 2 I was pretty sad that the story was over until the next game. I reckon that when I complete ME3 I will immediately start ME1 and do a complete play through again.

What did you do with Mordin? He's the most likely to die if you leave him with the group holding the line.

I can't wait for three, I want one thing, more Liana. It annoyed me that my favourite character from the first was barely in the second :(

Some scenes with her and Yvonne's character would be interesting ;)

I've got the first one on the go at the moment. I like it...but I'm struggling to "get into" it, it's just not holding my attention well enough, whereas Fallout 3 for example - the only other game like this I've played - just sucked me right in.

Fear not, I'm giving it a proper chance and not giving up just yet, but I'll be disappointed if they turn out to just not be my thing, because they're one of the few reasons I chose to get a 360.

I did like 2 although I felt pretty complete after I'd finished it and did a few dlc, I'm looking forward to the third but not bothered when it comes out really.
I wanna see bayonneta 2 before mass effect 3

I'm completely with the OP on this one. Just finished this on Veteran (or the difficulty level up from normal) and am going to start on Insanity shortly.

Its just an epic game and certainly in my top 5 of all time.

Has Dragon age got a similar epic storyline? Played Baldurs Gate 1 & 2, and also a bit of Neverwinter Nights. Is it more similar to them? I've seeb DA at pretty good prices so if its even half decent, might pick it up.

Thanks

Sunrunner

Think of DA as basically BG3. It's very traditional fantasy fare but I good for it. I just finished the first expansion disc Dragon Age: Awakenings and would certainly recommend it if you've liked other Bioware games.

My save didn't pass over to ME2 which i'm very annoyed about.

I had to replay the last mission and kill the boss again as it didn't except mine at first - there is a hidden game complete file or something and mine was missing - only took 10mins as I had a save just before you fight Saren.

I can't get into Mass Effect at all :(

I've got to the bit where you are the commander of the ship (Can't remember what it's called) and now I don't know where to go =\

I've started going to planets etc. but everytime I go on one - it looks empty =\

Use the Journal then and talk to people on the ship to help open side missions

Journal will tell you where to go (What planet) - Also when you use the Galaxy Map - Zoom Right out and it should have names next to the Galaxy/Planet corresponding with the mission.

I managed to save everyone somehow :D

Didn't like the levelling system in ME2 at all for some reason, hope it goes back to ME1, other than that I can't wait.

Know exactly what you mean! one thing i didn't like in ME2 though was how ammo was all of a sudden required, when it wasn't in ME1!

Hmmm, will try that! I have a save right before the final boss. Good thinking batman!

I just couldn't get into it, played through some of the first but it didn't grip me at all. Sometimes I lose interest when there is excessive talking lol. I need to replay it again and get into the story. Any tips on playing it?
