These 1/5 scale camera and lens models are superb - £300 though :(
This is a 1Ds with a 600mm F4

We've been following them on IRC. One was going for £10 till the last day and jumped to like £70. So want one.

Its not a bad way to spend 300 quid by the way you are talking about it. Do you think a collector has that attitude or a camera enthusiast.

I would love one but wont spend the money on one as I dont have it or need other things.

You could spend 300 quid on a computer component and it would loose its value instantly.. something like that would only ever increase in value.
 
Ever since I saw one in a high street camera store I have wanted one (I was with cykey at the time too :p). Cyk asked the guy if he could have it and they said no :(

Then we got home and saw how much they were going for :eek Shocking really but some people really think it is the camera!

lol, just saw the questions...can't believe people would fall for this thinking it's a real thing yet it was clearly advertised as scale model.

Funny that this auction is listed under photography instead of model or collectors items.

Seller seems to be an attention seeking ego maniac :)

Gone out of his way to make it misleading to thickos far more than he has to clarify it's only a model.
