Just saw this on Silverstone's site:

LC16G-3-4.jpg

(pic from elsewhere)

Anyone used one of these cases? The colour would match my pre / power amp setup perfectly....

It's an LC16G, found it stateside for $250....

shame a black / silver bezelled blu ray drivew would look ****e :(

anyone have one of these cases in any colour? Interested in building a htpc to replace my duff sharp blu ray player but have no idea where to start.

Too big.

HTPC is going in the miniITX direction from now on I think. I'm running a microATX system in an Antec Fusion Mirco, quite small but had funds permitted I think miniITX would be the sweet spot. Course, it totally depends on what you want from the machine. Personally, mine's a PVR and blu-ray machine. I had an ATX machine that was used for games too, but it was just too big and power hungry.

That said, if this is your main PC, nice case, but not where my money would be for a full system.

not main pc, would be used in lounge as blu ray player mostly, bit of streaming maybe and bit of this and that. part of the thinking behind this is i cannot get a stand alone blu ray player to match my amps and i'm really anal about thiese things!

The drive bay cover probably hinges down when the tray slides out. I have a Silverstone HTPC case (forget the model) and it does exactly that.

Near enough a perfect match (in the pic anyway) to my Technics pre / power amps. There in storage until the little one iis bigger but I really want an excuse to get them rigged up again....
