I want rid of my Nexus 5, upgrade options?

There are pay monthly sim only deals, I am on one myself with Three so I am not tied in. Hence why I mentioned looking at the cost to buy the phone outright then get a pay monthly sim deal, could save you some money.

Yea, I just worked out all the costs based upon buying the phone new, buying a PS4 new and then the average price for the contract allowance as a rolling contract.

It seems the deal is slightly cheaper. Unless I bought something second hand.

At some point, I will no doubt be buying a PS4... I won't use it much, as I'm a PC gamer, but still, a console would be nice in the living room. My old 360 isn't in the best shape.

Overall, it's costing a little more getting it under a monthly payment, but it's handy I guess. Plus, I'll sell my N5 and pay off a chunk of the contract (if you can do that?)

What's the deal? I'm pretty sure you're still getting boned. The Z3C is roughly £30/month on contract, so you're paying roughly another £30/month for the PS4. Over two years, that's £720, or double the price of the PS4.

Or to work the maths another way, £60/month is £1440 over 2 years. A PS4 is £350, as is the Z3C. That's £700 worth of 'free' tech. You're paying another £740, or £30.80/month, for service.
