Just watched Casino Royale for the first time with loads of people, what can i say i was really hoping to hate Daniel Craig but I thought he was excellant!

Story line was a little to romance based and i was waiting for the gadgets and the action but there was very little of it. Seemed very focused around the hotel and the Casino Table.

Not to mention Eva Green is HOT

Was a very good movie overall and ive been made to say 'The names Bond, James Bond' about fifty times so far :p

Well, Off now to class to exploit my britishness

Also does anyone have a link to the MI:6 Wallpaper that is shown on M's laptop?

There was a link to the wallpaper in the Windows desktop thread, I think.

And, tbh, charge people for sayings, a few dollars a pop and you'll be a happy bunny. :p

Maybe that's why it's 10x better than the recent Bond films then.
Yeah I think it's great the way they've reinvented Bond. After so many films it was getting tiresome. I really like the new style.

with you on that one, DC was much better than I thought he was going to be.

Very good although it was too long, and the beginning was tacky. The whole "dead bad guy gets back up and tries to kill Bond" thing was over the top.

And Mother Of God The Car! Why the hell did they dump that beauty after about 30 seconds on screen. I'd rather have sex with the Aston than Eva Green :D Or with her, in the Aston.

I watched it last night for the first time and thought it was good, a slight move away from normal Bond films though IMO.

I watched it last night. 7/10.

Recently, I have felt that the whole Bond idea was a bit dated; so much so that I skipped most of the Brosnan Bond movies. I loved Bond movies as a kid.

Casino Royale though, is a totally different animal. I like the idea of having a Bond who is very physical and able to meet bad guys with physical aggression. I also noticed that this Bond tends to do less talking - rather than make smart comments to his foes, he simply gets on with punching/kicking/strangling them.

What I didnt like about the movie storyline though was that fact that Craig is playing a real hard man (not like the previous Bonds), who is ice cold and ruthless, yet seems to fall in love in a matter of hours with Eva Green's character, who even quits his job with MI6 for someone he has known for such a short time - that didnt make sense to me.
