hi everyone, i went to play world of warcraft and noticed that on the screen i was getting multi coloured sparkes on the screen.im using a bgf 6800gt agp which has never been overclocked. i have checked the temps which seem fine (62) and looked to see that fans on cards were working which they were.
ive had this card for about a year now with no problems untill now.
i laso decided to test the card by running 2001se which resulted in sparkles and tearing in the dragothic section.
look forward to any suggestions or ideas thx in advance

are your power connectors making a good connection ?? try a different molex

Try it in another machine, if it does the same then I would summise it is FUBAR.

Checked the slot for crap and the contacts on the card for said slot?

Anything touched the GFX card at all?

BFG card, lifetime warranty right?

ok tried the ideas put forward to no avail been browsing web pages and have not seen any artifacts .it just appears when i try to play games weird

Here is another thought. Have you enabled some kind of overclock in 3d? when you look at the control panel, is there an option for clock speeds? If so check if it is enabled or not, cancel it and select no overclocking, it may be set too high.

error check and defrag your hard drive that solved the sparklies I was getting with my card last week.

dont worry, send it back to BFG and they will resupply a new one?
