Completed the main story of Ass Creed and only have flags + templars to do..

So i get 40/40 @ Masarf

Then I did the kingdom ones, I have 3 left :( Looked at the maps online but im sure i've been to them all FFS

Its turning into crackdown where i only have 1 orb left

Why do game producers do this? I know it extends the game a little but its an excessive amount tbh, after all in AC theres got to be 300 altogether ?

Eep they are definitely all there, as I 'found' them all using assassinscreed-maps.com

Best way I found of doing it was to have my laptop next to my Xbox, line up the screenshot of each flag on that map and make sure I am looking in exactly the right place. A lot of the game assets are reused, so where you think the flag is is actually ten steps to your left or right.

Is it really that important? It's not a challenge to find them it dull as ****. Snap the disc and go play something else instead ;)

It really isn't worth the effort.
 
I still can't gather the balls to do this in AC. Badly want the achievements but just hate to spend hours collecting only to find there's just one missing :/

If the game was exciting and fun I would go for them, just running around rooftops following a guide, well that isnt fun imo. Thats a waste of hours on planet earth.
 
Agreed. Hard to find flags in such a huge world are a pain and near impossible unless you have the help of a guide or weeks of free time.

Instead I would have preferred that the flags were easily visible, but hard to get to- thus providing a challenge.

Just finished the game last night... one unusual ending - but great cliffhanger :)

indeed , it much help, also spotted sid posted the link :cool:, although i dont like to use to many guides, it would take for ever to find them without.
 
Ive promised myself to do them once I have completed mass effect. the kingdom ones are the worst as if you walk anywhere near a guard they start attacking you and before you know you have to kill 20 odd of them - it just takes forever.
 
I really cant be arsed but i promised myself i wouldbnt buy any more games until i complete atlest 4 (GS wise) and I have from these games to do it (all other are 20% or lower);

CSI - 100%
TDU - 83%
Ass Creed - 77%
Crackdown 80%
Saints Row 65%
Call Of Duty 4 68%

I cant wait to buy CoD4 so thats why i need to complete 4 more of the above (well 5 but CSI done)!
 
Chatting to a mate over XBL or listening to music really does help if you're doing dodgey achievements like those - I remember for my last orb on crackdown it took me a few hours but I was chatting at the same time which does help...
 
What the.... Why are you collecting flags in the first place :| I had more than enough wall climbing just doing the missions!
Edit: Mmmm I guess chatting at the same time would make it more tolerable

Yeah - I tried flag hunting for half an hour and it really REALLY annoyed me with the amount of gaurds chasing after me, it might have been the save point I loaded however as they seem more aggressive later in the game. I will do it at some point, but its not something I look forward to doing once Ive done some work or whatever even though gaming should be fun :)
