I want to go wireless!

Hi all,decided that Id like to go wireless at home.

But Im a complete novice

Money is tight so will be purchasing second hand.

can anyone reccomend me a setup?

I will be running 3 pcs from it.

I know theres different standards etc,and its got me a bit confused,i know i will need a wireless card for each pc,are these expensive etc?

Any advice and help is greatly appreciated!

basically you just need a router and a wireless card in each pc.
What router to get depends on if you have adsl or cable modem. Some router have built-in modem for adsl. Those router wont work for cable modem.

The whole setup will cost less than £100 for a decent wireless network.

As for cheap cards, I've just got some Edimax EW-7128G Wireless PCI cards and they are fine and only £12 new.

save money and put as many PC's as possible within ethernet cable distance of whatever router you buy (no need for wireless card then).
