I want to go wireless

Greetings

I want to be able to go fully wireless, no connections from modem to computer, and be able to connect to the modem with my laptop also, so I am looking at this router

Would that work with Virgin Media?

Assuming that Virgin Media is the Cable connection which comes with its own modem, yes. But i wouldnt buy a belkin. Id buy anything but a belkin. (Ive had terrible experiences with the brand in the past).

Yes, cable (the dark blue modem) but I was told Belkin was pretty good, thanks for the warning though

Heed PhillyDees words! Belkin are a nightmare!Best bet would be a netgear or a linksys IMHO

I use Linksys, WRT54GL. Never had any bother with it. Its my gateway and DHCP server for the 24 port switch. I use the wireless for my laptop, and the range is pretty decent.

I hope whoever told you that isn't a friend. Belkin are complete dross. Netgear or Linksys, whichever you prefer, but make sure you buy matching adapters and router.
