firstly here is my spec
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Duo E8600
HIS iCooler V ATI Radeon HD 5850
Corsair Dominator 8GB (4x2GB) DDR2 XMS2 PC2-8500C5 TwinX
Asus P5Q Deluxe
Corsair HX 850W Psu
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA
300gig Maxtor SATA
the main question is what kind of peformance gain would i get from overclocking?
will it be noticable in games? or is it just going to be a extra 5fps here and there
what is the highest you would advise i have it at? i want it to stay at the speed all the time and not keep going into my bios to change it when i play a demanding game
lastly how do i do it?
is it always best to push as far as i can go on stock voltages before upping them? or would it be better to up them a bit first?
i have a Titan Fenrir cooler installed and my cpu is the one with E0 Stepping if that matters
