I want to get a pid for my Silvia in the new year - are there any recommendations? I see a few on ebay - what am I looking for/at? Any other supply routes I should consider?
Any help/pointers would be gratefully received.

Many thanks - Quink

No idea, but if you google adding pid silvia

There's a fair bit of discussion on other forums and a couple of guides with what they would do differently at the end.

I looked into this a while back Quink. It seems to be a case of buying the kit from the States. Auber and Watlow make popular units. With the exchange rate at the time, it was going to prove quite pricey to buy one, so I thought better of it.

If the cost of the unit isn't a problem and you're happy to fit it, then you'll be looking at a machine that's far better than most E61 models.

Many thanks - I'll do some research on those :) I'm happy to wield a spanner and a soldering iron, and I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket ;)
