Hi all,

What would be the best and easiest way to have a remote control connection to my Windows XP PC - From a Linux laptop.

I don't want an app where I have to enter IDs and passwords all the time....

As above you can use a vnc server on XP and a vnc client on linux. Alternatively you can connect to Xp's inbuilt remote desktop from linux also. You need to use a client that supports RDP.

Just use RDP, rdesktop or such like. Not vnc its dog slow.

I think "no machine" allowed you do that. There commercial but there is a free version.

Its been a while since I have heard anything about it though, so can't tell you much.

Nah, there isn't an NX server for windows.
