Hello all,

I recently came into the possession of a relatively good pc. However, after researching on the graphics card, I have found nothing. No websites sell it any more, no one has the prices it was/currently is and hardly any one is talking about it.

I would like to upgrade it to a better card, because I know it is out dated, but I don't know what.

My friend suggested a GeForce 520. However, I felt mine was better after trying out some games I play on mine, on his PC.

I really don't know because I haven't dabbled too much into Graphics cards before so it's kind of new to me. Can any one suggest a better card? Still at affordable price, I wouldn't want to spend an over the top price but I would like to see a graphical improvement. Or does any one know anything about a 320, because I sure as hell can't find any thing on it.

You dont want a 520 or 320!

First thing first what is the spec of the rest of your PC, also what is your power supply

sedcondly what resolution is your monitor

thirdly whats your budget?
 
6850 or GTX 460 are entry level gaming cards. Both float around the £100 mark. TBH it's actually pretty darn amazing what you can get for £100 now IMO.

I mean, I suppose it depends on what you mean when you say you want to play games on a PC. Popcap games require little horsepower.
 
Sorry for the very late reply, I have been very busy.

My Specs are:

ixtreme M5722 Packard Bell
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
6GB Ram
64-bit
Geforce GT320

My monitor is a 24" widescreen. 1920 x 1080.

Can't be assed to take side off to check PSU but I can if it's required. I would guess it's fairly high.

I can play WoW on almost Ultra, turning down shadows with 60 FPS. Realistically I would like to play full Ultra flawlessly. It doesn't require much horse power because I play it almost Ultra on the 320.

I'd also like to be able to play relatively new games, such as Mw3. I know the 520 runs it fairly well because I played it on my friends and his Pc is a lot lower spec than me. Mainly I want just general better performance on WoW.

I don't want to spend a crazy amount though. Roughly £50 but I can go higher. I know I won't get a top end GFX card but I'd just like something newer than the 320 basically.

Thanks for the reply. I am not bothered about upgrading that actually, as it won't be too expensive. (PSU)

Thanks for the advice. I may possibly purchase them.
