That's wii, not wee. Weeing on my monitor would just be dangerous.

So... can i do it? I'm looking to buy a ~20" TFT, and am wondering whether its possible to buy one that I can connect a wii to? Or can i connect a wii to my pc and run it through that way (like a video in etc)

Any thoughts? Or do i have to buy a seperate lcd TV?

Thanks in advance,

Ferg

That's what I thought. My master plan is to get a Dell 2407 and a Wii. That should work.

My only problem then will be plugging the Wii into some speakers. Ho hum.

I'll be testing this out the '2407 A04 Vs Wii' in a couple of weeks time - Look out for my review then :)

I already have this setup. I use the component input on my Dell. Its not amazing looking unless I tweak it to help, but its not terrible, just not as good as a tv (although I can tweak it to look pretty nice). It'd probably look better if I fed it using a component cable into the ViVo connectability on my x1900xt, and then used filters in programmes like D-Scaler, as I hear the component input isnt an amazing one on this screen, but its workable. The benefit for me is ofc it goes straight into my amp and speakers using the stereo output, so it sounds quite golden :D (that and I can be cheap and not buy a component cable XD)

i have a dell 20" with all the inputs, I must say that when I had my xbox or xbox 360 plugged in (when I was testing some things) the picture quality was far from good, compared to a TV. But saying that the wii is not even up to xbox 1 quality even with a component cable on my 506xde.

I plugged in my PS2 and Wii into the composite/S-video connection of my 20" Widescreen Dell and it was poor even with confuration. THe picture was not clear and it just wasn't feasable to play console games on it. My TV looked 75% better.

I heard that on the 2407, through component its not much better or anything close to connecting to a TV with component. If you are going to play console games on a TV then use a proper VGA connection like the 360 has. Other than that your wasting your time and space on your desk.

xbox 360 looks really good, my bro uses his 21" crt monitor because he doesnt have a hd tv

Does the system come with a VGA cable or do you have to buy one? Is there an official/unofficial one?

Right found one - But how on earth would I connect the 2 audio leads? Would I connect them to my soundcard? Maybe my Hi-Fi?

I have a dell 20" WS, no component input though however the xbox360 through an official VGA cable looks amazing if you have the screen set to "1280x1024" and "wide" in the xbox options and set to "fill" in the monitors option menu!
