As the title says, whilst playing around and making sure everything ran on my new computer smoothly I accidentally reset the bios and now the computer is.. well, reset. I know with my Gigabyte motherboard you press del on the POST screen to access bios but the problem is my computer boots so fast even when I spam delete I cannot get into the bios. Help?

Sorry just spammed that in. Basically I downloaded a BIOs tool and updated from a server (which reset from the overclocked settings) but just simply didn't realise it was going to override all the old settings so I didn't write them down. Does that make more sense? The PC I bought is the "Echelon Blacklist Gamer" Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.2GHz Limited Edition Splinter Cell: Blacklist LAN Gaming PC. And I haven't tried a CMOS reset yet, may do that now

you will need to overclock it again... probably 4.2ghz it is doable just setting the multiplier to 42x and leaving the default voltage.
if not you will need to increase the voltage.

What I was trying to do was access my BIOS so I could set an SSD as start up and a HDD as storage,k I didn't realise that it was going to update my BIOS via a reset

Obviously the CMOS wont give you your OC settings back.....but if you're knowledgeable with OC'ing then you should be able to just setup the OC again yourself ?

I would do the CMOS before anything else see how that goes

and from what I gather doing an OC via the BIOS is the better way to go and not through software :)

If you aint got a ps2 keyboard then youll either have to pull the cmos battery or see if theres a reset jumper anywhere on the board,i had this same issue with a gigabyte board the other day,its "fast boot" that causes the problem
