Hmmm... if thats the case, im surprised it isnt complained about more than it is. Most modern content is 24p.

Thanks for that, ill be sure to test that thoroughly when investigating the new tv. Im still on a plasma at the moment.

May be noticeable on certain scenes, like camera pans

It drove me mad to start with but the mrs didnt even notice it, there are settings on the tv to help but the higher you set it the more artifacts you get, i had it on 3 to start with but its now on 2 and im fine with it now. You can also turn on black frame insertion to make it more like an led but this also makes the picture darker.

I'm getting those too, but I think CEC is generally rubbish on any device. It does weird things on my Nvidia Shield if I have it enabled.

It's the micro-LED units I'm waiting for. But last I read, yield issues still means they are expensive and too large.
