Just been to Boston for work and while I was there had to obviously eat as much as possible. Luckily some of the guys I was there with like their food, so we had plenty of choices too.

Or, below are some of the meals we had...
On the way out there, obligitary stop at Caviar House & Prunier at T5, beats a panini at the airport. Nice bit of seafood and Champagne, naturally.
On the Sunday night we went out for a nice steak and seafood meat at Ruth Chris' restaurant. The seafood was stunningly nice, steak for me, wasn't as good.
Started with a seafood platter, with Alaskan king crab, lobster, king prawns, oysters and a ceviche.
Then, the ribeye with allumettes, mac'n'cheese and obviously more king prawns on the top. Of course.
Lots of walking to work was generally needed, but the views are great.
That night I had some work to do, so just stayed at the hotel and had room service. This was OK, I was resisting the steak, which was wise, so instead I went for; fillet of salmon with wild rice and baby carrots.
Tasted nice, but they overcooked my salmon. I'm fussy.
Made sure we went out the next night, and so went to the Boston Burger Co for dinner. Man I was so fricking full after this.
Started with:
Deep fried mac'n'cheese balls, damn damn good.
Deep fried pickles with a hot dipping sauce. Also damn good.
Boneless hot wings with blue cheese dipping sauce. Hnnng. I want these now.
Obviously it was a burger place, so we all had a selection of burgers.
2 of the guys had the killer bee...
Seb loves his mac'n'cheese, so had the mac'n'cheese burger
And I couldn't decide, so went for the kitchen sink... literally.
- Fried egg
- Ham
- Bacon
- Grilled onions
- Peppers & mushrooms
- American cheddar
- Provolone cheese
- BBC sauce

It was really good, but god I was full. I went to bed at 9pm as I couldn't move.
Next night we had a light one at the Capital Grille steakhouse.
I went for NO STARTER but I did have some of a colleagues grilled calamari...
For mains I had:
Bone in sirloin, truffle fries, lobster mac'n'cheese, and creamed spinach
Light dinner.
I was totally let down by the flavour of this massively awesome cut though. A bone in sirloin should pack a beast of flavour, but it was underseasoned, like it hadn't been properly salted. It was nice, but nothing special for what I wanted.
Needed something fresh. Steak breakfast? Nooo
I don't know what this stuff is, it's alien to me.
We were going to head to Barking Crab the following night, but decided that once you've had some steak you should probably just keep having it, so we headed for steak in a castle at Smith and Wollensky's.
I had a bone in rib eye, and this was without doubt the best tasting steak of the week. Properly seasoned, and really nice. Sides though, not very good. You can't have it all!
Wasn't enough for some folk though, so he had a small bit of cake:
I didn't manage to get any pics of most of our lunches. We had some nice ones, but nothing much to bang on about (Vietnamese and a Ribs were prob most notable.) other than the pulled pork sandwich from Hungry Mothers.
This place is someone's house, where they just do pulled pork and serve it from what looks like their front room!
It was tasty as. I didn't think it would pack much smoke, as it didn't look like it, but it was really really good. I also questioned the bread, but again, it wasn't too much for the meat, so you got the most out of the meat. Defo lunch winner!
That was most of it... I did have steak both legs of the plane trip as well, but it was crap. It contributed to the fleet of cows I ate though.
I got back on Saturday and asked the Mrs what she wanted for dinner Sunday, which she replied steak. Sigh.
So I had to, again
Healthy, though, there is green!
Detox time.
