Shame I already have 2 of the games (DC, Kinect Sports) - but still, think it's funny they gave me a controller for the purchase of a controller free accessory with controller free games!
I had my first go on Kinect the other day as a friend lent me one.
It was fun in the same way the Wii was fun for about 6 months (i.e. you just know it won't last) and it confirmed what I thought originally in that you need a not inconsiderable amount of free space for it to work as intended. I could play, but I had to stand slightly behind a sofa so it thought I had one leg
The photos it takes of you playing are pretty funny though, and had my GF in stitches (as I strained to lean over said sofa to plug some "leaks" on Kinect Adventures)
Kinectimals really interests me for the boy. I'm waiting on others reviews on how well this stuff is working after a few months of useage and the shiney new toy syndrome wears off.
