As some of you may have read, I had my drivers wing mirror knocked off by a box van on the motorway. With them being genuine ac schnitzer mirrors I contacted acs hoping they'd have some left over stock. Unfortunately they didn't. I searched high and low and couldn't find any so I ordered some m3 replica mirrors from a reptuable bmw styling and parts shop.

This was just over 2 months ago. When I contacted them I asked how long it would take for them to be shipped to me. They said 2 weeks.

Cue then some issue arising regarding the mirrors and that the baseplates which were sent from their supplier were wrong.

Asked how long for the Base plates to come and they said a week. Asked again last week and they were stuck at costums. Low and below asked again today and they were out to be delivered to them then they'd get them painted and sent out to me.

For some reason I feel I am being fobbed off. I paid a lot for the mirrors, how long would you guys deem reasonable until you contact, in my case paypal, about the situation of not receiving the goods. I have all communication in written form.

Non were given. No selection of delivery methods were given at checkout or on the website. This is why I messaged them.

It may be a slight possibility I could but at the time of searchingI couldnt. I have looked since then but still a bit scarce to find what I've ordered. I find it rather strange of why it would simply take this long. The other fact is that I have always had to contact them first to ask regarding the parts. Which has kind of put me off as I'm the one who's chasing.

He did state that the baseplates which were sent out wrongly would take 3 weeks but it's been over 4.

Not sure where to go from here as I feel it could just be a genuine mistake, yet feel I might be taken for a mug.
 
I would raise your paypal case. Even if the seller pulls their finger out and gets them to you, the case will just get closed. But if they start to drag it out another 2 weeks, which suddenly becomes 4 weeks. May as well just get the ball rolling now.
 
Just an update. Mirrors recieved today after a 3 month wait. Just need to fit them and report back to them.
