Hi all :)

I decided to write an RSS reader, but one that stays out of the way and sticks itself to the desktop. Called Feedling, I've hosted it at http://feedling.sourceforge.net/.

Could some kind souls take it for a quick spin and let me know if they come across any obvious bugs? There's some obvious feature enhancements that are needed (ability to change font colour, for example), but examples of things actually going wrong would be very useful.

Thanks :)

Looks OK to me. :) I did notice that when mouse pointer was over the window and the headlines (BBC News feed) that I got a 4 headed arrow?

And XP tells me that Feedling was taking up 72Mb of RAM? Can take some screenshots later on in the morning if you want? :)

You should only get the 4-headed arrow when it's in the "move mode" bit, where you can drag-drop windows around the desktop. Can be enabled / disabled with the right-click on systray icon menu.

72MB is a lot, but then again this is a .NET app, and they always seem to take up all the space in the world. I think it's allocated rather than actually used, so it'll give it up if anything else needs it...

*edit* erk, 116MB on mine...
