A Motorsport equivalent to Crickets IPL. 10 teams of 2 drivers using Radical SR3s. Teams are Franchises, with 1 Indian driver and 1 International driver. It pretty much follows the format of the IPL, and there is a nice $2m prize.

The current planned schedule is:

Yas Marina Circuit,Abu Dhabi - January 7,2012
Sepang International Circuit,Kuala Lumpur - January 22, 2012
Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain - February 4, 2012
Losail International Circuit,Qatar - February 11, 2012
Buddh International Circuit, New Delhi - February 26, 2012

No news yet on a UK broadcaster, but if it does make its way onto the screens here then it could be a nice little warm up to keep us occupied before the start of the F1 season, and other major series.

I don't really follow the IPL, but I understand it has been quite successful?
