i3 2100 vs G2130

I know this is kind of obvious, but which would you choose for cheapo build /got cooler already/?

used i3 2100 CPU only for £34
brand new boxed G2130 for £41

Any have hyperthreading? And what speed are both chips? Can't really check as I'm using phone

2100 is Sandy with HT, G is Ivy without

It's hard cos ivy is faster clock for clock but sb has the hyperthreading which helps a lot in supported programs

Me I'd pick a CPU that had hyperthreading everytime

2100 for me.
Cheaper, has HT but comes with a lower core clock and is slower C4C.

just bought the 2100 for £33 actually.

I think I did make the right choice.

The i3 2100 series are pretty good chips. Got one in my kids build atm i3 2130. The system is snappier than my dads i7 920 build (stock 2.66ghz) around windows and surfing. Im very impressed with these chips for the price. Add an SSD to the build and its pretty good computing.
