Could someone kindly tell me if there is more than one version of the Intel i3 4130 CPU, please? I've found one on Amazon I'm looking to purchase, but it seems a bit odd to me. Here's the advert:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EUUKVXM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1DUONX4CGU7T

I've asked the seller whether its new and whether its different from the one sold directly by OCUK:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-492-IN&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=567

and also Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

S/he hasnt got back to me yet, but your help with this question will be great. Is there more than one type of the i3-4130 CPU?

Cheers

Yup 2 versions well one is the vanilla and the other is the T(Low Power Version) - http://ark.intel.com/products/family/75025/4th-Generation-Intel-Core-i3-Processors/desktop But the difference in price should set alarm bells going unless they just had a good deal. It could also be a grey product (Imported from somewhere cheaper) and you may struggle with warranty if it died and you went back to Intel.

Overclockers and the second Amazon price are almost bang on Cost+5-10%+ VAT from one of the biggest distis in the UK.

I would put money on it being grey import.
