Dear all,
I have a mini ITX machine in my office (Spec i3 4330, H81i-plus MB, 8GB RAM, and a GTX 970), which I use for general work (emails, Office etc.) plus WOW when I have some downtime.
I can get hold of a Xeon E3-1231 for 160 quid unused.
My question is, is it worth the upgrade to the Xeon? or should I stick with what I have?
The CPU is compatible with the MB, and when playing WOW the i3 sits around 60% usage. My gut is to 'future proof' a bit, but then maybe it is better to stick and replace the guts totally in 3 to 4 years.
thanks Martin
