Ok, theres not much info on a guide for base settings for getting a stable OC on the i3 530 cpu. Just covering the basics, as i know OC dont like to do into too much detail over OC's.
I want to aim for a 3.8 OC with stock cooler, now do i want the cpu clock ratio at 22x or 20? I have a, gigabyte GA-H55m-S2H, with corsair 4gb ddr3 10666 (1333Mhz) i know not the best. At the moment i have:
CPU Clock 20x
Qpi x36
Qpi Speed 6.84 (now i cant remember about qpi, does it have to be double the cpu clock speed???)
BCLK 190
SPD 6.0
Mem Mhz 1140
Which gives me 3.8ghz, or should i select cpu clock 22x and BCLK 175 which also gives 3.8ghz??
