i3 6100 not good enough for BF1

I have an i3 6100, 470, 16GB DDR4 RAM and on high settings my CPU usage is maxed and I'm getting a lot of FPS dips

Will I get better performance if I buy a 6600k and leave it at stock? Won't be able to overclock it straight away

6600k is a waste if not overclocking. Get an i5 6500 from cex at 135 and run at stock or if you have z170 overclock it. There will be little in it with them both at stock.

I will be over clocking just not straight away as I don't have a z170 board yet. You say there will be little in it but don't the 2 extra physical cores makes a difference

Am I able to use my i3 6100 stock fan with this i5 6600k?

One thing I'm noticing with my 6600k is that it's never going to 3.9Ghz, only seems to go t o 3.7Ghz. Could this be because my motherboard doesn't support the turbo boost or something
