Hey,
Making a media center, so I need to be able to output 720p video and audio in the best of quality. Plus the odd web browsing. All on a 42inch TV.
I can either use i3 for onboard graphics (output through hdmi) or an 8600 passively cooled (output through DVI)
The motherboard has an optical out so I can always run the audio line separate from the TV.
Just wondered what sort of performance difference there is when looking at onboard graphics with the i3, and an old 8600.. any idea? Worth the effort of running optical etc?
Thanks in advance, hope I've been clear!
