Hey guys, my girlfriend just built her first PC (A mini ITX) and i overclocked it for her to 4ghz. Its perfectly stable on default volts, but the temps are idling around 41-44c, is this normal for a mini-itx build?

Checked the temps with coretemp and she doesn't really use it for anything other then PhD work and iplayer/films/browsing so i havent really gone for a prime95 test as i see no need as its stable for over 5 hours of browsing and work.

Would appreciate some feedback

Thanks.

That is very reasonable and not bad at all for 4Ghz. If the system is only used for those activities you list then I really do not see any need to over clock to be honest. Except because we can. :D You have not said which chipset so I am assuming it is a H55/P55 socket.
