i32 - Who's going to be there?

Hey guys

So who else from OcUK will be there?

Will be nice to meet up with some of the people off the board, also because I'm going to be going on my own now the person who was originally going has had to drop out

I haven't booked my ticket yet so wanted to make sure there would be some people I could pop over and speak to before I pay my money, don't want to be on my own all event :(

Going to try get myself in the Team Fortress section also :)
 
Not been since i30, all my mates who used to go can't be bothered anymore :(

EDIT: IF I went, I'd want to be playing in the COD2 tourney, or possibly COD4 if I have skills on it by then.

Or even both if they don't clash.
 
Me and 3 other mates attended i28 & i30. Had a great laugh but won't be going to i32 as plans e.t.c. and its going to be cold! hehe.

Will be going to the next one tho. Have a great time mate.

Nope. There are a few rooms set aside, but generally they are full of people who absolutely STINK.

Last time I did a november I-Series, it was -3º outside at night and the tent was COLD! Ended up sleeping in the car with the engine on!
 
Im going with a few of my clan (well 2 lol)

I hate the sleeping arrangements! Use to kip any where you could get head down, the tents are gay and I wont have a car to sleep in more than likely :(

No, its really not. There isn't exactly an abundance of room between the rows, and people lying there and not fully in control of their body (and bodily functions :eek:) are NOT what you want in that situation.

They have the sleeping arrangements as good as they can be under the circumstances IMO.
 
I'll be there with a lot of friends, sat in the wow section but playing(winning) the tf2 tourny.
 
went to 28, 29, and 30. The solution to the cold sleeping is take a caravan :P worked for us.

Dont think i'll be going to 32 as the price is sky rocketing (even with discount) and allthough its a great laff, it just seems to be becoming a bit to commercially driven. I prefer to goto smaller lans where its a little more social. Mind you with all that said i would like a shot at the TF2 tourney!

Yeah, its a shame things are getting so big with the I-series lans :(

Went to I5 and I6 and those were awesome. Nice big lans with people kipping where they wanted to :P

I12 was ok but it was getting bigger than and then I17 I had to sleep outside >.>

Only reason I would go to an I-series now would be to play in a tournament and I would have to have a serious clan to bother :P
 
I have been to i6 and i30, i have to say it has grown enourmously, and now there are even showcases by big names like nvidia.
But then that for me was the problem, £80 entry seemed to make everyone really really competative, so it took the fun away for me somewhat as i havent really been playing competatively at any level since i started working (4-5 yrs or so) so i am really out of touch and its one of those things to really enjoy it you would need to go with a clan


Fortunately no camping for me as i have a friend who lives down the road from the exhibition center.

missing this one but might try and make it to i33 with clan people if im still in it then (uni block all gaming and chat things like vent so looks like its not gonna happen :()
