Anyone going?

I just found out a Bar is at the place so im basically going.

Little info:

Biggest LAN in the UK, with around 1500 people participating, all of the top teams go etc.

Cod4, CSS, TF2 money up for grabs :)
 
I've been to 3 or 4 of them in the past and they were generally good and well organised. This was a some years ago though, when there was 600-800 ish people there. Can't believe it has grown to 1500! :eek:

Are you going with a clan? Always a good laugh when you go with people you know (either in person or meeting people you've known on the net for ages and get to meet them :)).

I left my clan as they joined some low noobie leagues

I am playing with a team though :)
 
im going with a handful of clan mates, currently seated in row V on the 2nd floor of the main building (i think)

warning on the bar, itll probably be a rip off, managers always up the price for big events ive been told
 
Ahh the "I" events, the time for people to gather and wave there willys around.

I'd have more fun putting a needle down my jap eye.
 
Went to three in my younger days. Only good bits were the fact we won £500 at one, and the dominos pizzas.

They should be one day long for the tournaments and thats that. Gets boring unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY like PC games and play them nonstop.

I've got a video of some people doing things like that, (and so much worse) after watching it i don't think you would :p
 
my cost of travel is practically negated, got passengers so am recouping most of the costs on that front

going as it was an ideal time to actually meet the muppets ive been gaming with for many years (even if we are all still rubbish, its a laugh)

couldnt care about the willy wavers, my pc is currently housed in an akasa eclipse, and thats the way i like it, no glaring blue led fans, no cathodes, or silly glow in the dark etches, just simple and functional

Just dont go sit in the CS sauce area, my god some of the people there are so... stereotypical!

I was really looking foward to it this year as even mroe friends have signed up to go than last time (i30) but recently it's looking very unlikely for me to go which is a massive downer. :(
 
in the css area as thats the main game we want to play...could be rather interesting as i dont see myself as the stereotypical CSS gamer, but if thats where the clan wants to sit thats where ill sit, besides doubt any of the FPS game areas are any different to be quite frank, all FPS games have their elitists and their whiners
