Ok so it's quite a while away in August, but tickets are selling fast!

Who's going and what games are you going to play / and for which teams?

Also, anyone who went to i36, what would you suggest for accommodation? (dont fancy camping and have you seen the price of the hotel?!)

Currently looking at that hostel...

That is all

:)

don't think Arm3D.CSS will be attending this one, the COD4 team might though, not sure yet, chances are Network3D will be there with MakeMeCooler again or some other excuse to give away silly amounts of stuff

The hotel price isnt too bad, its for 2 people after all so bring a mate and split the costs, its worth it for the hot showers and central heating, alternatively a b&b/hotel in the nearby town if you fancy forking out for taxis every night or dont plan on drinking as much as i did last time.

Hostel depends how much you like the idea of sharing facilities with the type of people who attend i-lans hehe.

Indeed.

It's unlikely Arm3D.css will be attending, unless Network3D fancy forking out for our tickets/accomodation. :D

The Network3D guys are going and will have a pretty exhibition stand giving away buggerloads of goodies, just like i36.

The Hotel is definately worth it if you share with a friend, plus you can rent out your showers to other clan members.

Middle of summer, might as well just camp. Don't see the point forking out loads for 3 nights when you can sleep in the field without having to worry about being cold etc.

I've just booked.

What stops ppl from essentially knicking ur PC or components?
You do by making sure the case and monitor are locked to the table and you have case screws that need a key to open. Knowing the people around you also tends to keep your gear safe as if they see someone poking around your stuff they are more likely to tell them to jog on.

Used to love the i events, buts its just become too expensive for me to go now, Newbury was close to home, but now its a 6+ hour drive, expensive hotels, food and ticket prices.

When I went to Newbury I could get the Travelodge cheaper for a 4 night stay then buying a room in the hostal for one night, think I was paying £11 a night for my room.

Rip off :)

Spent £250 last time inc Hostel, food and beer.

I could have a sick weekend in Amsterdam for that ;)

Got to agree. I was planning to go the to Newbury one, but couldn't make it, and then they moved venue. It's a lot more hassle for me, which is a shame really.

Hopefully I will go to one in the future though, doubt it will be i37 though.

Im going :D can't wait, first LAN but I don't have a team haha. Oh well, i'm sure it'll be fun nevertheless!

We need a way of marking the OcUK members when we're there :p I vote OcUK T-Shirts!

Yup, me and my bro going, our first LAN

Really looking forward to it, we'll be seated on the top right near bfb and ?box crew
