Hi O' wise ones out there, im about to purchase an i4790 bundle from the techlabs, been saving my pennies hard.
Now can someone possibly educate me on the actual overclock power ile be getting.
It says ile get an i7 at 4.4ghz.
Now is this going to be active at that actual speed as soon as i say put on Crysis 3 or Farcry 3 and start playing.??
ive read to many threads so my brains a bit scrambled due to reading someone say its not a real overclock its Turbo'd ??? ok whats the difference please.
Plus i read ile only get one of the four cores running at 4.4ghz the rest will scale down by point one??? again whats that mean, cant i get all 4 running at 4.4ghz. Maybe thats not how it works.
Overall am i getting a faster chip out of the box and will i notice the boost i get from the purchase as apposed to a Stock chip.
Forgive my blabbering on, but just want to understand the physics of it all.
Many thanks out there if you have the time to educate me.
