Finally got round to playing with my CPU, nothing groundbreaking, just going to 4.6 on a 4790k. I just wanted to sanity check my settings with you guys as you're much more experienced :)

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Corsair Hydro H100i
Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7
SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W

In BIOS:
CPU Clock Ratio - 46
XMP - Profile 1
vCore - 1.250 (Tempted to lower this and re-run??)
LLC - Extreme

Ran OCCT for 1 hour:

Yeah i would lower the voltage until it crashes during testing then just add 10 mv. Personally i would prefer to up the multi instead of lowering the voltage but its down to your cooling i guess.

i would lower the llc to the next one or two down. also you can probably try running 4.7ghz at a bit more voltage. try 4.7ghz at 1.275v.

Thanks. I'll have another play tonight, the 75 degrees seemed to be an anomaly, with most of the temps averaging around 70. I'm trying to avoid getting close to 80, as I heard this is a general temperature cap for most people??

May I ask why? From what I've read setting LLC to Extreme is the best way to keep the voltage 100% stable, with the other settings allowing the CPU Vcore to drop when the system comes under loading.
