Is it worth upgrading my i5-2300 (overclocked to 3.4GHz) now to the i5-3570k, or would I be better waiting until next year for Haswell?

Running it along side 8GB 1600MHz RAM and a HD7850 for gaming.

I'd say no, cracking chip. Got 4 2320s 'free' after a client decided he wanted HT cpus in his Dells for video production, said i could have the cpus in lieu of payment for the cpu swaps, jumped on that one :D Guess the bins go up to 34x on the 2300 and 35x on the 2320 as i have one at 35x103 = 3.6Ghz stable at 1.12v in a HTPC machine :)

Nice :) I have mine stable at 3.4GHz. I can stretch it to 3.6GHz but it tends to get quite warm, at 3.4GHz it's nice and cool when gaming/encoding videos.

I'll hang in for Haswell then ;)
